West Palm Beach, FL – February 15, 2006 – Building on upon great momentum, Daniel Imperato secured another endorsement this week from influential Hispanic businessman Edwin Quintana.
“I am a firm believer in the youth and in promoting sound diplomacy towards all countries. Daniel Imperato is someone who has taken the rhetoric of supporting youth into action, and has utilized his knowledge of the globe to create inroads with foreign nation,” stated Quintana.
Quintana has established himself as a distinguished member of the Hispanic and telecommunications communities, having won the Hispanic Corporate Achievers Award (1993), the MCI Chairman’s Inner Circle Award, and most recently served as the CEO of Uniquest Communications.
Additionally, Quintana was national director of Corporate Relations for MAD DADS, a non-profit organization designed to promote and demonstrate positive images of fathers engaging and protecting community youth and families.
“Our nation needs a strong leader. Our nation needs Daniel Imperato, a man of faith, values, courage, and knowledge,” commented Quintana.
Quintana also created the first vertical market for Hispanic accounts at MCI and implemented the first point-to-point services to Mexico. Quintana utilized his vision to open up markets for Latin America as well as other countries around the globe.
Daniel Imperato was pleased to have someone of Quintana’s good nature and character to support his campaign.
“There are few people who have such a good-heart like Edwin Quintana. His passion for his people and for the youth knows no boundaries and his ability to successfully achieve his goals are great,” expressed Imperato.
Imperato also felt it was important to highlight the rising role of Hispanics in the United States and the issues that they face on a daily basis.
“We must remember that our nation is a nation of immigrants. Immigrants for over 200+ years have settled in this great land of America and have made a name for themselves and for their families. The Hispanic people are the fastest growing population in our nation and have made great contributions to our society and economy. We must all recognize that Hispanics have been a backbone for our nation and must be treated with mutual respect.”
