West Palm Beach, FL – January 20, 2006 – After learning of the heinous attacks committed against the wife of Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, Hajiya Sa’adatu, 2008 Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com) of the United States sent his condolences to Hajia Abubakar, wife of Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the Rimi family as well as the country of Nigeria.
“First of all, my deepest condolences go out to Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, the Rimi family, and an extended condolence to the wife of Vice President Atiku for their great loss,” stated Imperato.
Alhaji Abubakar Rimi was married to his wife for almost 30 years (August 14, 1976), and produced a son and four daughters.
Currently there have been no arrests pertaining to this crime.
Imperato also wanted to show support for the people of Nigeria and their search for justice.
“I lend my support to the people of Nigeria during this tough time and hope that these barbaric people who committed such an evil act to such an innocent person are brought to justice.”
