New York, NY – Today Imperiali Organization announced that Caribbean and International Banker Steve Lopez will be joining the company’s global advisory team.
“I am very excited to be working with such a credible group as the Imperiali Organization. I believe that there are many doors that can be opened both here in America as well as around the world,” commented Lopez.
Lopez brings over 35 years of international banking experience to the table from organizations such as First Fidelity Bank (Now Wachovia Bank), and Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase).
Most recently, Lopez was the founder and CEO of Banque de Credit et Investissements Inc. in Grenada, West Indies, where he developed a $3 billion portfolio for the bank.
Lopez also feels that banking could open up opportunity for inner city communities which typically have faced challenges in attracting investment and capital.
“I believe it is important that everyone have access to the banking system, especially in the inner-city areas. When communities are given access to the banking and capital system, we will see those communities build up their infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, as well as see those communities thrive because of increased jobs, increased investment, and better educational system as a result of the previous two,” explained Lopez.
Dan Mangru, a director for the company, also expressed his comments for the addition of Lopez.
“The addition of Steve Lopez to our Global Advisory team brings great value and adds a wealth of experience to the team. Mr. Lopez is not only ambitious in his business activity but also shares that same passion with his community. He is a man who always wants to find ways to give back and to help expand opportunity for all. A man of this type of vision is a man that everyone needs in their organization, and we are very excited to have him as a part of ours.”
